When a member buys access to your Discord/Telegram community, they pay through your checkout (Polar product recipes we provide, or your existing Stripe / LaunchPass / PayBot / Whop rails). Trutara does not take a percentage of your membership revenue. You still pay your processor’s normal rates on those member products.
Why flat $29
Fee stacks are the wedge.
Discord native monetization stacks a 10% platform fee plus processing. Circle starts higher with a transaction fee. Marketplace tools optimize for Discover traffic. Community Checkout is a flat Polar desk so operators who already have (or will build) their own audience keep member economics on their own rails.
Refused verticals
We will not support these communities.
- Adult — adult / NSFW paid communities are refused.
- Gambling — paid gambling / betting / casino communities are refused.
- Financial advice — investment tips, trading signals sold as advice, “guaranteed returns” cohorts are refused.
If your community is one of those, do not subscribe. We will not fulfill or support those verticals.

Plain answers.
- Is this Discord Server Subscriptions?
- No. Discord native subscriptions are a different product with Discord’s fee schedule (10% platform + processing). This desk helps you sell memberships on your checkout and gate roles with existing tools.
- Is this Whop / LaunchPass / PayBot?
- No. We are not a marketplace and not another gate bot. If you want LaunchPass/PayBot/Whop to run access end-to-end, use them. If you want flat ops + own-rails clarity without Trutara taking member GMV %, this desk is for you.
- Do you ship a custom Discord bot?
- Not in week 1. v1 is documentation for InviteMember / Zapier / common bot patterns. Kill shape avoided: multi-day custom bot engineering.
- Does Trutara take a cut of my members?
- No. Polar MoR is the $29/mo desk subscription only. Member money stays on your rails.
- Is this for AI agents / machine licenses?
- No. Human community operators only. Agent/machine licensing is a different lane.
- Adult, gambling, or financial-advice communities?
- Refused. We will not sell or support the desk for those verticals.
