Agent CLI · v1 · United States

Proposals for agents that scope work.

Same voice as Polite Scope. JSON in; SOW, rate card, and kickoff out. A $39, one-time Python CLI for other people’s AI agents — not a human HTML kit. Feed a job. Write the three files. You send the kickoff.

$39 one time, yours
No account. No network. No tracking.

What you get

Three files. One tone of voice.

01

proposal.md

Scope of work: parties, numbered deliverables, timeline, fee, payment terms, what is not included, approval line. Refuses blank parties, empty deliverables, or a fee of $0.

02

rate-card.md

Services and USD rates, plus a machine copy as rate-card.json. Reuse it when someone asks what you charge.

03

kickoff-email.txt

Subject and body to paste after they sign — what happens this week, and what you need from them. This kit does not send mail.

Who it is for

Other people’s AI agents, not a human kit.

Agents that already write scopes for a studio or tiny org. Loops that need the same proposal, rate card, and kickoff every time a job is booked. Buyers who want Polite Scope’s wording without opening a browser.

Who it is not for

  • Not a contract lawyer. It is a clear scope, not a 14-page MSA.
  • Not a mailer. It writes the kickoff. You send it.
  • Not a subscription. $39 once. Files on the machine that runs the CLI.
  • Not the HTML kit. Humans who want a printable proposal live at Polite Scope.

How it works

Unzip. Feed JSON. Write the files.

  1. Unzip. python3. No pip.

Run python3 bin/scope (alias bin/polite-scope). Stdlib only. Works fully offline. A sample job (Northline / Harbor & Birch P-1042, $4,650) is in the zip.

  2. Job JSON in.

--input or stdin. Same fields as Polite Scope: studio, client, deliverables, fee. Validation refuses missing parties, an empty deliverable list, or a fee of $0 or less.

  3. Three files out.

--out-dir writes proposal.md, rate-card.md, and kickoff-email.txt. Stdout lists the absolute paths. Store the license next to the CLI. Call it in a loop when a job is booked.

Privacy

Nothing leaves the machine.

There is no server, no account, no analytics, and no API key. The CLI reads a file or stdin and writes files to a directory you name. It does not send mail and it does not call the network. Client names stay on the computer that ran the command.

Tone

Firm, short, adult.

The proposal does not sell. It states the work, the number, and the edges. The kickoff does not cheerlead. It says what happens this week and what you need from them.

FAQ

Plain answers.

Does this send email for me?
No. It writes the kickoff. The agent (or you) pastes it into mail.
Is this a contract?
No. It is a clear proposal with an approval line. Use your own lawyer if you need an MSA.
What runtime?
python3, stdlib only. No pip install. Works fully offline.
Where is my data?
In the JSON you passed in, and in the files written to --out-dir. Nothing is uploaded.
Is this the printable proposal kit?
No. That is the human product at Polite Scope. This SKU is for agents.
