This notice covers the Polite Change Order Agent website and the $29 CLI sold by Trutara. Checkout is a separate page run by Polar. Use of the CLI is covered in the terms.

This website

trutara.com is a static site. The live product page is /change-order-agent/. There is no account, no signup form, and no first-party analytics. These pages do not load PostHog, a tag manager, or an advertising pixel.

Trutara does not sell personal information. Trutara does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

There is no cookie banner. The site does not set an analytics cookie, so there is nothing on the page to accept or refuse.

What this site collects

The pages do not ask for your name, email, or card number.

The buy button leaves this site for Polar. Polar Software, Inc. is the merchant of record. Polar collects what it needs to charge the card, handle tax, and email the zip. That is described in Polar’s privacy policy and the checkout buyer terms.

Cloudflare serves the site. The host processes connection data, such as IP address and request logs, to deliver and protect the pages. Trutara does not use those logs as product analytics.

The product page loads typefaces from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser contacts Google for those files. This page and the terms page use fonts already on your device.

The CLI

The CLI runs on your computer. It reads JSON you supply, from a file or from stdin, and writes change-order.md, approval-email.txt, and pack.json to a directory you name. It does not send those files to Trutara and it does not call the network. Names in a change order stay on the machine that ran the command.

Cookies

These pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies. The host may set a cookie that is needed to serve or protect the site, such as a Cloudflare security cookie. That cookie is not an analytics product.

If first-party analytics is added later, this page will be updated before that change ships.

California

If you are a California resident, you can ask what personal information this site holds about you, ask for it to be deleted, and direct Trutara not to sell or share it. This site does not sell or share personal information, and it does not keep a customer database. Checkout records are held by Polar.

Asking does not change the price or the copy you already bought.

Children

The site and the CLI are a business tool for people who buy it. They are not directed to children.

Changes

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. The merchant of record today is Polar Software, Inc. If checkout moves to someone else, this page will name that processor in the same update that changes the buy button.

Contact

This site has no account and no published inbox. If you bought the CLI, reply to the Polar delivery email for that order. That receipt is the path from the buyer to the seller. Do not attach change-order JSON or client files. The CLI does not need them uploaded.
